Key Content
Teams start from scratch – agreeing a loan and then making decisions on refurbishment, pricing, marketing budget, advertising, staffing, pay and purchasing stock.
After plenty of discussion, team decisions are analysed on computer and results given as a weekly profit and loss and sales record. The computer also prints help and advice, as appropriate.
Teams face further challenges integrated into the workshop by the trainer; these include quality, expansion, diversification and external factors so they need to analyse the ‘weekly’ results carefully in order to make good decisions – and maximise profit.
